Se 1 Eps 1

The 'Adapting to' blog will unfold as a series of adapting to the world around us: in today's world.  We either adapt to something or with something.  It really is that simple.  However, life is not so simple.

. How does one adapt?. Can anyone truly adapt fully?  Should anyone fully adapt?. Does anyone really know how to adapt at all?. Have I? . Can you?
These are just some of the questions, I ask and I would like to answer.  To the best of my abilities...so, bear with me on this journey!

Where do I begin?  At the beginning?  At the beginning!  Truth!
It's No Secret!
It is no secret that words are powerful.  We all know that words carry power; that the pen is mightier than the sword.  We know this already.  The twelve words I am going to share with you now, you also know.  You know each and every one of these words and their meanings, if you are English speaking, that is.  If you are not a native English speaker, then this list of words would be a great place for you to start too.

1. Responsibility...

2. Harmony...

3. Respect...

4. Forgiveness...

5. Connection...

6. Discipline...

7. Integrity...

8. Example...

9. Self...

10. Worthy of Belief - It is up to you to decide; not others...

11. Diligent...

12. Dreams - from goals, wishes, prayers...

        Success!
This is for everyone; no matter what the age...

'You are never too young to teach and You are never too old to learn'

You may have noticed that I have divided the numbered words, above, into groups of four.  There are three groups of four.  We will look through the words in that order.  The order that I have set out here, is not a random order, it is a very deliberate order.  This order works with our whole being.

We must first imagine that our whole being, includes, but not exclusive to our head & neck, shoulders, arms, body, hips, legs and feet.  There you have it, the basic run down of the body.  Now we need to put these in a more grouped capacity of togetherness; separating, where appropriate.

To achieve this we must look at our body as a house.  A house that we can divide into three parts/houses.  Each can be looked at and cleaned individually.  There is an upper, a middle and a bottom to most houses and our bodies are no different.  We need to look at these three sections when ever we want to make changes.  By working with these three simple areas, we can work wonders.  Within, without and all around.

The idea is this:

Upper House: Head, brain, throat and neck

Middle House: Shoulders, Heart and solar plexus

Lower House: Lower back, sacral, hips, legs (upper & lower), ankles and feet. This is the basic layout that we need to look at for our overall health and well being.

The twelve words and the three houses will make perfect sense to you, over the coming weeks.  As I move along with and in this blog, all of the questions I have raised, I will give a logical and reasonable response to.  At times I will share video's from motivational speakers to inspirational ideas.  These will help our understanding and wisdom grow.

That's enough for now, I feel.  It is not my purpose to overload your mind.  To overload you mind would not make any sense. If the mind is overloaded, how on earth can you truly think?  How can you truly take in the wonders, that are you!  How?  I love the word 'how'.  Teach it to every child from the moment you meet.  The first question on your mind, when you see the beauty that is a new-born, is - How?  One of the most amazing words we ever learn.  A word that can teach us so much; a word we can learn so much from!

So please, take your notes and ready yourself for the next episode.  Updated on a week by week basis.  Although, I may pop in from time to time, to add little titbits.
